Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 30, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Swiss IT Products ("Swiss IT Products," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information in connection with the Pilot ShareCraft mobile application and related services (collectively, the "App"). It applies to all users of the App. By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the App.
1. Information You Provide to Us
- Account information. When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password credentials (passwords are handled by our authentication provider and are not stored by us in readable form).
- Profile information. An optional profile photo and display name.
- Aircraft information. Details about aircraft you add or are invited to, such as tail/N-number, make and model, registration data, performance figures, hours, and photos.
- Flight logbook data. Flights you log, including departure and arrival airports, routes, dates, Hobbs/tach readings, flight durations, passengers, pilot-time categories (PIC, SIC, dual, day, night, instrument, etc.), landings, approaches, and holds.
- Scheduling data. Bookings and reservation requests, including times, estimated flight hours, purpose, and notes.
- Maintenance data. Inspection and maintenance records such as annual, 100-hour, oil change, transponder, altimeter, ELT, and VOR information.
- Fuel data. Fuel purchases and fuel-burn information, including gallons, price, and location.
- Financial data. Expenses, income, budgets, reserve-fund entries, member balances, billing rates, and receipt photos that you choose to add.
- Invitation data. When you invite another pilot, we process the email address you supply in order to locate and notify that user.
- Communications. Information you provide when you contact us for support.
2. Information Collected Automatically
- Device and push tokens. To deliver push notifications (for bookings, approvals, and maintenance reminders), we process device push tokens through Apple Push Notification service and our notification provider.
- Usage and diagnostic data. Basic technical information necessary to operate the App, diagnose problems, and maintain security, such as app version, device type, and error logs.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and operate the App's core features — scheduling, logbook, maintenance tracking, fuel management, and cost tracking.
- To enable aircraft sharing, including displaying shared data to other members of an aircraft you belong to.
- To send transactional and operational push notifications related to your aircraft, bookings, and maintenance.
- To process and manage subscriptions and premium features through Apple.
- To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
- To maintain the security, integrity, and reliability of the App, and to detect and prevent fraud or misuse.
- To comply with applicable legal obligations.
4. How Information Is Shared
- With other aircraft members. Pilot ShareCraft is a collaboration tool. When you create, join, or are invited to an aircraft, members of that aircraft can view relevant shared data, which may include your name and email, bookings, flight logs, maintenance records, fuel entries, and member balances. Do not enter information you are not comfortable sharing with the other members of that aircraft.
- With service providers. We use Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Functions) to host data and operate the App, and Apple for app distribution, push notifications, and subscription processing. These providers process data on our behalf and under their own terms and privacy policies.
- For legal reasons. We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Swiss IT Products, our users, or the public.
- Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
We do not sell your personal information.
5. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App. Flight logs and related records are intentionally preserved to maintain accurate historical data for aircraft and pilots, including after a member leaves or is removed from an aircraft, or after an aircraft is deleted. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data as described below; certain records may be retained where required for legitimate business or legal purposes.
6. Your Choices and Rights
- Access, update, or delete data you have entered directly within the App.
- Enable or disable push notifications in your device settings.
- Manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID account settings.
- Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, or request account deletion, by emailing us at the address below. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) or the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your data, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
7. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encrypted connections and the access controls provided by our hosting and authentication providers, to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children's Privacy
The App is intended for pilots and aircraft owners and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
9. International Users
The App is operated using infrastructure that may store and process data in the United States and other countries. By using the App, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in countries that may have data-protection laws different from those in your country.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice within the App. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
